  1. Read this book, and you will have a god chance of success. Don’t read it and don’t complain if you fail

The writter describes the telecom industry recent foibles with great insight. The book is also an excelent map to guide a new venture through the competitive maze.

A must for any telecom entrepreneur! Rating: 5 / 5

  2. First of all the positive side is that you can learn from this book by bad example.

    So, what is wrong
+ The book introduces new concepts and terms without defining what they are.
+ The book rushes to conclusions without describing the phenomena first or analysing it.
+ It raises suspicion that the author expects that reader should take on faith what the wise and experieced author tells.
+ The book gives a feeling that the author just happened to like some people and she herself chose to believe what she was told. Now, she graciously shares her belief with the reader. Well, thanks.
+The book does not explain to the humble reader what is the author’s methodology in analysing the subject matter. The methodology is assumed if there is any.
+ The author knows only the USA and its approach to telecoms. Does the rest of the world exist?

As a result, why should a reasonable reader believe anything the book says? By assumption that people usually do not lie? What if they are wrong?
Personally, I am amazed that a respectable publishing company like McGraw Hill prints books like this!
Professor of Communications Technology Rating: 1 / 5
